Innovation in Training

Ready to Take Your Game to the Next Level?

Program of Instruction

Our umpiring curriculum includes comprehensive classroom discussion of mechanics and techniques, NCAA Rules and CCA Mechanics, The Strike Zone, Handling Situations, Communication, Philosophy of Plate and Base Work, and Field Work and Drills.

Students develop advanced thinking methods and methodologies for recognition of play development with a specialized focus on non-routine and unexpected variations.

This innovative instruction prepares umpires to work three-man mechanics at the highest level of NCAA baseball. Students will be taught the learning techniques to become leaders and crew chiefs in their local associations and how to elevate their game at all levels of organized baseball. This intense and professional approach to the instruction of advanced three-man umpire mechanics is augmented with live game assignments with evaluations of on-field performance.

Instructors

Our staff is comprised of some of the top Collegiate Umpires, as well as MEAC and CAA Umpire Coordinator John Porter and United Collegiate Umpires’ President and Division I Coordinator, Chris Marshall. Our instructors are dedicated and committed to sharing the skills and techniques making them successful at the highest levels of the game.
