This clinic is intended for those umpires prepared for and looking for immediate assignment in three-umpire games including Division I Conference and Non-Conference, SUNYAC Conference, MLB Draft League, NECBL, and other three-umpire opportunities that may arise under the United-MAC umbrella.
The vetting and acceptance process for this event will be strict and thorough. Only 12 spots are available.
Instruction will take place at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell and Merrimack College.
United supervises baseball conferences in Division I (America East, Ivy League, Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference, Northeast Conference), Division III (Atlantic East, Empire 8, Liberty, NAC, NEAC, NJAC, and SUNYAC), NJCAA Region III and XIX, Metropolitan Collegiate Baseball League, New England Collegiate Baseball League, Perfect Game Collegiate Baseball League, New York Collegiate Baseball League and RussMatt Invitational.
Offering superior continuing umpire education, UCU participates in training programs throughout the country, including several presentations made as part of the NCAA Umpire Improvement Program.

Clinic Schedule & Program
10:00 am – field work and laser plate work at UMASS-Lowell
Instruction will run through the day
There will be live game evals in the late afternoon and evening
Saturday, October 22:
Training, live game evaluations and laser plate work at UMASS-Lowell beginning at 9:00 am
We anticipate being finished by 6:00 pm depending on the day’s game scheduling
Sunday, October 23:
Live game evaluations at UMASS Lowell and Merrimack
Our plan is to be concluded by 6:00 pm
Clinic Instructor Staff
Our clinic instructor staff is led by UCU President Chris Marshall and UCU Director of Umpire Development, Brian deBrauwere
Chris was named UCU President in 2017 after a successful college umpire career, including being selected for four NCAA Division I Super Regionals. Brian joined the United training staff in 2015 and has been selected for two NCAA Division I Super Regionals.
Tuition for this unique umpire development program is $125. Only 12 umpires will be accepted. Registration closes October 16 at 11:55 pm EST; notification of registration status will be sent on October 17 by 3:00 pm EST.
Must pay upon registering, any umpire not accepted will receive a full refund. Umpires are responsible for their lodging, food, and transportation.
