General Guidelines and Information
WARNING: COVID Testing is Mandatory For Division I and Division III UMPIRES.

CAA WEEKENDS
All weekend games or series – Umpires Must return a MAKO Test 72 hours before the first game of a series or before the first game at any site.
CAA Midweek games Hofstra, Delaware, and Towson
Must return a MAKO test 72 hours before any individual weekday game. Return test on Saturday for a Tuesday game. Sunday for a Wednesday game.
CAA MIDWEEK GAMES Northeastern, JMU, William & Mary, Elon, UNCW, College of Charleston
Testing will be done on Campus before the game.
MEAC WEEKEND Games
All assigned umpires Must return a MAKO test on WEDNESDAY on any week there is a WEEKEND assigned game. Send Fed Ex Tracking number to [email protected] by 2 PM on Wednesday’s test date.
MEAC MIDWEEK Games
Must return a MAKO test 72 hours before any individual weekday game. Return test on Saturday for a Tuesday game. Sunday for a Wednesday game.
GMU and GWU DI Games
Plate Umpire and 1 other Umpire are responsible for making an appointment and taking a COVID test 72 hours before any Series or any game date, not in a Series. 2 Umpires must test and the cost of the test will be reimbursed. If there are 2 or more games in a series ALL umpires must test.
DIVISION III at CNU, Mary Washington, Salisbury, and Southern Virginia
Umpires will be tested on campus before the game. BE SURE TO CONFIRM TEST SITE AND TIME WITH HOME TEAM.
DIVISION III at St Mary’s College
Umpires are responsible for making an appointment and taking a COVID test 72 hours before any Series or any game date not in a Series. 2 Umpires must test and the cost of the test will be reimbursed.
