3-Man Umpire Clinic
Our instructional staff is comprised of current and former Triple-A professional umpires, current and former NCAA postseason umpires, and leaders in the umpiring community.
Upon acceptance of your registration, class schedule and any other camp information (when confirmed) is sent by email. Schedules are subject to change.
Currently, the clinic begins on September 13 at approximately 4:00 pm. The clinic concludes on Sunday, September 15 at approximately 4:00 pm or after the last live game assignment.
September 13 – September 15 | Registrations Limited
This weekend camp is the most advanced umpire training for non-professional umpires. Designed to help umpires learn the skills required for NCAA conference level games.
This is an intense weekend with a professional approach to instruction of three-man mechanics. Instruction includes comprehensive classroom discussion of mechanics and techniques, NCAA Rules and CAA Mechanics, The Strike Zone, Handling Situations, Communication, Philosophy of Plate and Base Work, Field Work and Drills. In addition, live game assignments with evaluations of on-field performance are planned.
This clinic is held on the campus of Hagerstown Community College. Tentatively, the clinic begins at 4:00 pm on Friday, September 13, in a classroom at the clinic hotel, Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Hagerstown. Field instruction and live games take place at Hagerstown CC/Western Maryland area on surrounding fields. The clinic concludes on Sunday, September 15 after the last evaluation game.

September 14 – Classroom, on-field instruction, and live game evaluations
September 15 – On-Field Instruction and Live game evaluations
Lodging, meals, and travel are the responsibility of the umpire. If approved, you will receive information on the clinic hotel and the special rate set up for clinic attendees.
Clinic tuition is $300. Space is limited, register today! Tuition must be paid in full by September 11. Registration closes on September 11 or when the capacity for camp is filled. All registrations are subject to approval.
Attending this clinic will satisfy the requirement for MEAC certification. The MEAC office requires umpires working their conference to attend a clinic or camp each year. If you are on the MEAC staff, this clinic meets certification requirements.
