Umpires looking to receive feedback and evaluation with hopes of advancement to high-level tournaments in high school, JUCO and NCAA Baseball at all levels.

 A GREAT SHOWCASE EVENT

Continuing education is critical to the success of the MAC/UCU program. This event offers both online and live training – a low-cost event with a great student-to-evaluator ratio. All students umpire live games with highly skilled evaluators watching live. Every play will be recorded, and detailed evaluations will be presented after the games.

Register for The Summer in Richmond Umpire Showcase 2-Man AND 3-Man Evaluations. All registrations are subject to approval.

Who should attend: Umpires looking to receive feedback and evaluation with hopes of advancement to high-level tournaments in high school, JUCO, and NCAA Baseball at all levels.

When/Schedule: July 27 – 31 in various locations.

  • Wednesday, July 27 – 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm (Two-Umpire on-field clinic at James River High School in Richmond, VA);
  • Wednesday, July 27 – 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm (Three-Umpire online classroom)
  • Evaluations games, 2 and 3-umpire July 28-July 31 in Richmond and July 30-31 at the University of Maryland, College Park, MD)

Description: Umpires will be evaluated in-person and on video by MAC/UCU staff while working in the two umpire or three umpire system. Feedback will be immediate. Additionally, during live game evaluations, video is taken. Key plays will be isolated and reviewed with students following their games.

Umpires are responsible for their own transportation, meals, and lodging.

Clinic Cost: $125
Registration is now open and will remain open until filled.

All evaluation games will be scheduled in Arbiter. Your availability will be considered for scheduling. You may be evaluated on either/or both the 2-Man and 3-Man systems. Let us know your availability and preferences, and we will take care of the rest.
