Our instructional staff is comprised of current and former Triple-A professional umpires, current and former NCAA postseason umpires, and leaders in the umpiring community.

November 12 – November 14 | Registrations Limited (Invite Only)

This weekend clinic is designed for the experienced post-season umpires and advanced college umpires desirous of enhancing their skills in the 4-man umpire system.

Clinic Overview

This is an intense weekend with a professional approach to the instruction of four-man mechanics. Instruction includes comprehensive classroom discussion of mechanics and techniques, NCAA Rules and CAA Mechanics, The Strike Zone, Handling Situations, Communication, Philosophy of Plate and Base Work, Field Work and Drills.

Location

This clinic is held in Newark, DE on the campus of the University of Delaware. The clinic begins in the classroom on Friday, November 12 in the afternoon (tentatively 3:00 pm start). Field instruction takes place on the University of Delaware baseball field. The clinic concludes on Sunday, November 14 (field instruction and classroom session tentatively scheduled).

Instructor Staff

The primary instructor staff is comprised of Major League Baseball Umpires, Current and Former Triple-A Umpires, and NCAA Regional Evaluators. You will learn from accomplished umpires, teaching the techniques required to excel when working a 4-man game.

The afternoon/evening of November 12 – Classroom
November 13 – Classroom and on-field instruction
November 14 – Classroom and on-field instruction

Lodging/Travel Arrangements

Lodging, meals, and travel are the responsibility of the umpire.

Tuition

Clinic tuition is $395. Space is limited, register today! All registrations are subject to approval.
